happy new year

Intention setting at the beginning of the year is imperative. New Year's vision boards & manifestation lists have utilized online platforms more this year than I have seen in other years. My peers & I have moved our vision boards to virtual platforms like Pinterest, new email accounts, PhotoShop, & Instagram. By creating virtual boards, we've found a more organic means of goal setting that allows for flexibility. Going virtual relieves us from the pressure of identifying all of our 2022 goals by the first day of the year. Now, new & outdated goals can be altered throughout the year. As someone who struggles with perfectionism, I love this new flexibility.

Makeup is out, and skincare is in. In my opinion, the pandemic has caused a seismic shift in what the beauty industry is focusing on marketing to consumers. What were once makeup ads inundating my IG & TikTok feed are now skincare products (that I desperately want).

  • Bullet journaling is great for those who find pre-made planners to be too rigid. I love this method to log daily tasks, keep a monthly or weekly calendar, jot down notes, track my habits, and to set goals. The main drawback to this method is the time that goes into structuring each section, calendar, etc.

  • Every person who I have come across online who seemingly has their life together & is well organized loves this organizational platform. I have yet to figure out how to work the most basic calendar template, so Iā€™m not sure what that says about me.

  • I love planners & even if I integrate virtual calendars and planners into my organization structure, I will always have a physical planner on hand.

Here are the best planners of 2022
