The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

This YA book makes me so happy. It’s set in England and is told through the perspective of our protagonist, Christopher, as he gives us an intimate look into his mind while embarking on an adventure to solve a crime that he was accused of. I love this book - it’s such a good read & it would lend well to being adapted into a feel-good television show that also offers the nuanced perspective of a neurodivergent protagonist who has autism.

Adele is BACK! Her album, “30,” is dropping Nov. 19th - this is her first album in 6 years, & it’s all about her divorcing her ex-husband & who she was when she was with her ex. She dropped her single, “Easy on Me,” earlier this month & I cannot begin to explain how excited I am to hear the rest of the album. Adele will always be “that girl,” & I love her desperately (even if her new hit single is somewhat boring.)
Taylor Swift is dropping her album, “Red - Taylor’s Version,” Nov. 12th. If this album title is familiar to you, she already released her grammy-nominated best country music album of the year, Red, in 2012. She lost the rights for all of her work pre-2019, when her previous & devious ex-manager, Scooter Braun, bought & sold her masters to another company, Shamrock Holdings, for $300 million in 2019. “On a business level, Braun’s move was smart: Swift’s master recordings reap profits whenever the songs are streamed or bought. On the personal front, it was contentious” & cruel. “Anyone who hits play on an old version of Swift’s early songs right now will still pay into the bank of Braun.” (Times 2021). I will be streaming her new music because I am pro-women earning money for their work & and greedy men like Scooter Braun.

Secession Season 3 has been released & renewed for season 4. Woohoo!
You season 3 has been released & renewed for season 4. Additionally, Penn Badgely & Cardi B are trending because Penn (he is so lovely & kind) complimented Cardi on her ability to navigate social media, which led to an unexpected but brilliant internet friendship between the pair. There is now a change.org petition to have Cardi guest star on Season 4 of the show.
Dune has finally been released & even though she only had seven total minutes of screen time, everyone is obsessed with Zendaya. Dune 2 has been announced & aside from cinephiles & pre-movie Dune lovers, people are more excited for the promo content that Zendaya & Timothee Chalamet are going to film than for the movie itself.
